I Need Blogging Help!

I did want to post pictures and did, then deleted them... Gosh, I'm a mess today! Here's some pictures to go with the below word post about Crayon Caddies. I really wish I knew what I was doing here...!

Crayon Caddie

Well, I haven't blogged lately due to not finding my camera. I just love it when one of the kids breaks or loses theirs and then take mine and DON'T EVEN TELL ME! All's forgiven though... I'm pretty easy... it only took a Venti coffee from Starbucks and a little chocolate. Yep, I'm cheap and easy. Oh, gosh that didn't come out right ;)

Anyway, I've been working on a few projects and here is one of them. I made a few of these crayon caddies for my kids' Easter baskets. So far I've made four and have two more cut out. I gave one to the little girl down the street with a Claire's gift card tucked in, exchange for some outgrown clothes she gave to my girls. I haven't heard if she liked it or not. And I suppose I shouldn't go on about this but I will anyway. Why do people not say 'thank-you' anymore? I just don't get it. I live in New England and people from around the country tell me how rude we are. Gee wiz... I think they're right!
Oh, well, enough of that... I got this pattern from: "http://www.skiptomylou.wordpress.com/2007/04/25/on-a-roll/">www.skiptomylou.wordpress.com/2007/04/25/on-a-roll/ It's a great tutorial and so clear that I made the first one with NO mistakes! How 'bout that! That doesn't happen too often with me.

Our New Etsy Shop!

Oh, what an exciting adventure! I just opened an Etsy shop and couldn't be happier. I've wanted to do this for some time, and I finally had a few items to list, so today was the big day to set up shop! Please, go take a peek and see what I have. Even if you have no need to buy anything, leave me a comment! The place to go is: http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5391630
I'll be busy this evening sewing a few crayon holders. I'd like to make three for my little ones, one for the little girl down the street that so graciously shares her out-grown clothing with my girls, and two for the Etsy shop. I better get busy, huh?

St. Patrick's Day Craft

This morning I decided we'd do a St. Patrick's Day craft, but didn't have anything particular in mind. After searching for a couple minutes on the computer I found this easy, kid-friendly craft at www.enchangedlearning.com/crafts/stpatrick/Rainbow.shtml The supply list was short and I had everything required, so we pushed everything to the other side of the table and had a little fun. As you can see, Kaleigh helped Caressa do hers, but Caressa pretty much felt she made her own.
Really, excuse the mess! I had a one-track mind this morning, and that was to do something fun with the girls... so yup, the kitchen is still messy from breakfast. Cassidy and Kierra are busy making their rainbows.
And here is one of the finished products. Now we have three St. Patrick's Day mobiles hanging in the windows! Oh, and you probably already know this, but just in case... the clover is a great way to explain the trinity! The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit... three persons, One God!
